What is it?
A web feed format used to post updated content, like podcasts or news.

How does it work?
A "feed" is updated for a user to see instead of having to check the real web page.

Why would anyone want to do this?
So they do not have to check the web site if something does not interest them; or if they do not have time to go to the page, they have a summary of it.

Who uses it?
Anyone who wants to not have to check a web page all the time and who takes the time to set the RSS Feed up.

When was it invented?
March 1999

What are some examples?
RSS 1.0,RSS 2.0

How do you read it?
The user puts the information in the feed reader and the reader pulls the page up for the user to see.

Are RSS Feeds better than E-mail newsletters?
I think so, because with e-mail would have to come everyday to keep people updated. RSS Feeds come up when the user needs it to.
