Much more trustworthy with my feriends.

No. trust is something you have to work hard at to build up.

Why?

I depends. It is generally more up to me, but the other person may have a bad trust problem, and may have to work harder to trust anyone.

No. We shouldn't trust anyone until they give us a reason to.

Or should we be cautious and not trust them until they prove themselves worthy?
Yes.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each position?
You take a big risk trusting someone. And it's hard to give someone a reason to trust you sometimes.

What does being trustworthy have to do with the quality of your character?
If you are trustworthy, more people will believe in you and you'll have a lot more friends.

What are the benefits of being a trustworthy person?
More trust, more friends, knowing that you're a trustworthy person.

How do you benefit from the trustworthiness of others?
You can trust that they won't tell secrets or anything.

What does being trustworthy have to do with the quality of your character? Because character is the way you act, even when people are not around. And if you are not trustworthy then you have NO character.

What are the benefits of being a trustworthy person? Having people trust you.

How do you benefit from the trustworthiness of others? Because if you needed to talk to someone and them not tell anyone then you know that you could talk to that person that is trustworthy.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each position? You can make sure people arent going to lie or do bad things to you. But then if you trust them to much, they might turn on you.

What are the benefits of being a trustworthy person? Everyone will like you more because they know they can tell you anything.

How do you benefit from the trustworthiness of others? I know I can tell others things and not have to worry about them going and telling other people.

It should be that way, but in our world today people are not generally trustworthy

Its easier just to say "I trust you" and be done with it.
But thats not always the correct thing to do.

Being trustworthy is a character trait, and you should strive to be trustworthy

Not only will it allow you to have better friends, it will put you in better situations.

If you know you can trust them, you can be a better friend and get closer to them. Get to know them better.

Being trustworthy is a quality of character and if Your not trustworthy that lowers your character level.

You have more friends.

Or if don't trust them until they prove themselves worthy, they might not be able to prove themselves so you want trust them for a long time.
