Caring-Part 2-Due 12-11-07

Agree or disagree: It's uncool to be a caring person. Why, or why not?

To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person?

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?

Why or why not?

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?

Is it realistic to think that an average teenager could make an impact on their community?

To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person? Well if my friend needed me to help them with something then I would but if it was a bad person then i wouldn't.

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change? No.

Why or why not? Because most people only want it so they can go buy drugs or beer not to better themselves.

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway? Well if it was a mother and child then I would go and buy them something to eat and clothes possibly but i wouldn't give money to any of them.

Agree or disagree: It's uncool to be a caring person. Why, or why not?

I don't think it makes you uncool to be caring. If you care about others they will like to have you as a friend because you are actuallly interested.

To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person?

For me it would depend on who the person is. I try to help everyone, but there are some people I would do more for than others.

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?

Yes.

Why or why not?

We are called to help the least of these and if I knew what they were doing wasn't illegal it would be an easy yes.

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?

Any of those options really do not make a difference to me; I would help them all. I think if you care about strangers you are doing what God tells us to do.

Is it realistic to think that an average teenager could make an impact on their community?

Yes. Everything a person does leaves an impact, so it is very easy to leave a mark.

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?

b) NO it wouldnt make a differnce

c)NO

If you give to a stranger it shows you care about everyone, not just people you no.

1. Agree or disagree: It's uncool to be a caring person. Why, or why not?
I totally disagree because it is a lot cooler to be known as a person who cares then someone who doesn't.

2. To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person?
I dont know it would just depend on the person and what I had to be doing for them.

3. Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?
I would.

4. Why or why not?
B/c I think that if you was out there and you had no money and no place to go then you would want someone to do that for you.

5. Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture?
Nope. It shouldnt make any difference on what race, sex, or if your old or young if someone doesnt care for you then it kinda seems like you dont have a meaning.

6. What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?
It has a lot to do with caring b/c if you think that you care for other people more than yourself but you dont help the people on the streets then whatever you say is a big fat lie b/c you would do whatever it takes to get them a little extra change.
7. Is it realistic to think that an average teenager could make an impact on their community?
Yes. If they try hard then I think that they could do anything that they set their mind to doing.

so it depends on who you are giving your money to.

Disagree, it's uncool to be uncaring. Why would you want to be friends with someone who doesn't care about you?

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?

To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person? I would be there for anyone and anytime they needed me.

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change? No, but I would go buy them food and bring it to them.

Why or why not? Because you never know what they are spending that money on.

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? Yes, because if they are very old, then the child and mother usually don't reason on much because the mom sees it when she was a kid, which was WAY to long ago and things have changed. And from a different culture yes, because maybe the kid wants to do something different from her culture and she doesn't want them to because its not in her culture and that would make a huge conflict.

What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway? It shows that you actually care for them to live, have shelter and food.

Agree or disagree: It's uncool to be a caring person. Why, or why not?
* I disagree being a caring person shows you have respect for the people around you. It does not mean you are uncool, it just shows that your respectful.

To what extent would you inconvenience yourself for another person?
* It all depends on what the situation was. If it was very important I would inconvenience myself a lot, but if it was not that important I would not inconvenience my self that much or if at all.

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?
* If I had it on me of course I would.

Why or why not?
* I believe that some people need a helping hand from some caring people to help them back upon their feet.

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?
* No it would not make a difference I would help anyone who asked for it, because it is the right thing to do. Giving money to a stranger has a lot to do with caring, because not everyone will help a needy person.

Is it realistic to think that an average teenager could make an impact on their community?
* Yes it is realistic to think that. People of all ages are capable of making an impact on their community.

-Not sure.

Would you give money to a stranger on the sidewalk who asked for spare change?
-Depends.

Why or why not?
-Well, it depends if they are sincere enough. Maybe...or probably not...

Would it make a difference if the person were a mother with child, b) very old, c) from a different culture? What does giving money to a stranger have to do with caring anyway?
-1) Well if it was a mother with a child I would consider it...but the others maybe...maybe not.

Is it realistic to think that an average teenager could make an impact on their community?
-Well...They could make an impact, but not one that would change the world.
